RUN THROUGH HISTORY

Dolihos Ultra Race – Delphi – Olympia – 255 kms

25, 26 & 27 April 2025

Olympians Athletic Club and Dolicho Organising Committee invite you to the  DOLICHO (DELPHI TO ANCIENT OLYMPIA)ULTRA RACE 2025 edition to be organized for the 14th year in the row, on the 25,26and27of April 2025

The race is 255 Km long with a 48 hours time limit.

The total route includes 60% dirt roads, forest roads and foot paths and 40% asphalt (tarmac) roads, linking Central Greece to Peloponnese through Rio-Antirrio bridge. The mountainous part of the route reaches a 1.100 m altitude with a total positive ascent of +5.420 m and a total negative descent of –5.930 m.

For this purpose, friends-members of the national / international running community who believe they can come up to this extreme mental and physical challenge are invited to join the race and witness the wonderful feelings generated throughout this endurance event; feelings that only few runners can experience, few but EXCELLENT.

Rio OlympiA  2025

6th trail race RiOlympiA 144 kms

Following requests from friends-runners the organisation committee announces the 144 kms RiOlympiA  trail from Rio(north Peloponese) to Ancient Olympia. Total positive ascent 4598m and negative 4580m. The race will take place on the same day(s) as DOLICHOS ultra race and will follow exactly the same route as the DOLICHOS second leg from Rio to Olympia.

The start of the race will take place at 09.00 a.m.  on Saturday April 26April in Rio. Maximum duration of the race 32 hours

PAME RIO 2025

8th race from Delphi to Rio 111 kms

The Athletic club OLYMPIOI and its organisation committee invite you to the eighth edition of the race ΄΄PAME RIO΄΄ which will be held on 25 & 26of April 2025following exactly the same route as the first leg of DOLICHOS ultra race.

The distance of the race is 111 kms and the duration is 17 hours. It includes 102 kms of asphalt and 9 kms of dirt road. Total positive ascent 825m and negative 1350m.

Runners will run a race parallel to the Korinthian gulf passing through picturesque fishermen villages and finally they will reach Rio through the Rio-Antirrio bridge.
